This morning (2023/06/06) my garage door had both cables off. Curtis showed up at the booking time. He was a pleasant and efficient guy. He put the cables back and ensured the system worked properly. I am impressed by his professionalism/honesty, easy to talk to. In future when I need garage door service, I will call Door Doctor/Curtis, for sure.

Stephanie located the doors we chose within hours and the very capable Sierra made it happen in just TWO days! Our installer, Tyler, was outstanding and did an incredibly professional job. We couldn't be happier with the result!

Everybody I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. Able to get an appointment quickly. A special thank-you to Josh Connolly, the technician who came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed everything right then. I would certainly recommend this company to others.

I chose an online appointment on the Door Doctor website, the techs were there right on schedule, took measurements. Came back the next day with parts, had the repairs done in a few minutes. Friendly, helpful, fast service. Great job Door Doctor.

The technician Tony was excellent and did a really great job. I can't say the same about the staff in the office though. I had emailed the company last week (the office was closed at that time so I couldn't call) to find out whether the company installed garage door openers and how much they charged. I didn't get a reply so I tried going through the online chat. The chat steered me to book an appointment so I did.

However, I decided I should call when the office was open on Monday just to verify that they did actually install openers and to find out how much they charged. The person I spoke with told me that they did provide that service and that they charged $325. As well, she told me that the one-hour timeslot booked online wouldn't be enough time to do the job, so we would have to book a longer appointment. I agreed to the price and the 8 to 12 timeslot for this morning. I did have a quote from another company for $250 but I thought the extra $75 would be worth it for such a reputable company and one that several people had recommended to me.

12 o'clock came but no one had shown up, so I called the office again. Sierra told me that they had booked me for the 1 to 5 timeslot, which I never would have agreed to because I already had another appointment this afternoon. However, she called up the technician and he came right away.

He did a great job and was very helpful explaining all about the new opener I had installed. When he did up the bill though, the price was now $350. He said I could call the office and let them know about the discrepancy. So I did, but the person on the phone said that she was the one I had spoken to on Monday and that she had quoted me $350 at that time. I had written down both the timeslot and the price when I had spoken to her as well as putting in my calendar right afterward, so I know I'm not mistaken. But I was made to feel like I was the one who had made both mistakes!

I have never left a bad review for a company before and I certainly don't want to be considered a "Karen," but I will not recommend this company to anyone and will tell all the people who recommended them to me about this. I feel a little bad about it though since Tony was great. He deserves a five-star rating, but I am giving the company only a two-star rating on Google..

I had my new garage door installed last week and just wanted to say how pleased I was with the service and installation .
The installer worked tirelessly and did an amazing job. He cleaned up after himself and made sure everything was working properly before leaving.

Damn, TEN STARS not an option here!! I don't even know where to start, and I am an avid writer.

First, Mark and Tanya in the office, were amazing; helpful, and fully versed in product choices, colors, whether or not to choose windows, and the types of those, right down to the "sunset window inserts" we liked.

These two customer driven people made ordering a new garage door, and arranging install date so easy and enjoyable.

Due to a death in the family near the original date to install the door, I had to re-schedule our date. Tanya was only too happy to help with scheduling a new date to install our door, and very compassionate to our recent loss. Today was the install day.

Our installers, Jordan, and JP were prompt, friendly, and highly professional!! Their scope of business did not end with a simple garage door installation (and all hardware, including tracks, etc.), but they went the full monte, with advice on lubricating, and the precise locations, and frequency. They also showed me things I had not ever learned about my garage door OPENER (not part of the install, except to connect it to the push bar). We had a lot of fun cracking jokes, and chatting as they worked!

Not sure about the rest of the world, but I need more than "Bob came and put in a new door and left" experience. I have to ENJOY new things happening, and these two young men fit the bill for us PERFECTLY! Forgot to mention they CLEANED UP TOTALLY before leaving my home!!

The big question is "would I refer this company in future?"

You bet you life I will!! You simply cannot do better than these people, period. Bar NONE. I am 63, pushing 64, and it is RARE to find a company of team mates who CARE so much for their customers, and how the customer feels AFTER the job is done. They NAILED IT!! Go get your new garage door, and go get it from Door Doctor, Markham. You will be so happy you did!!

PS This door is so quiet, I can't hear it outside, and the quiet hum of the Whisper Drive opener is the ONLY thing I hear inside.

UPDATE: (April 19, 2021- One month following install)

I heard a slight noise, and seemed like the garage door had a small hesitation one panel from closed, while closing. I called the Door Doctor to apprise them of this issue, at approximately 2pm today. The technician (Jordan) answered promptly, and was IN MY GARAGE by 3pm!!!) He re-adjusted the cable, which had mal-aligned itself slightly, and it is working perfectly. As always, he was only too happy to come and confirm the issue, and correct it.

This is to comment on their follow up practices, and again, they have surpassed my best expectations!!! Thanks once more for being such a customer oriented team of helpful, and honest people!!
