Visible Drive Solutions

In the case of visible drive solutions the drive box and the linkage can be seen externally. They can be quickly connected to existing conventional doors with little effort, which makes them an ideal solution particularly for retro-fitting to doors in public buildings, for example.

Additional Functions

  • Push & Go: brief pressure from the hand is sufficient to make the door leaf open automatically.
  • Door closing function: simple manual operation is possible during a power failure.
  • Air-lock and porch function: two coordinated doors control access or prevent the exchange of air between the interior and the exterior.
  • Access control: access to the building is monitored by a key, badge, video or biometric data.
  • Building automation: integration into existing building management systems possible.
  • Two independent movement sequences: two movement sequences can be programmed which are independent of each other and which can be activated using different encoders.

The CU Series 200 Conversion Unit is the ideal solution for retrofit applications and is easily installed due to the unique back-plate design. Models are available for single, pair and double egress applications and can be configured to existing doors with butt/offset or center pivoted hinges, swinging either out or in without breakaway.

TDA Series 100

Overhead Concealed Unit designed specifically for new construction. Models are available for single, pair and dual applications. The unit adapts to center pivoted doors swinging either out or in with or without panic breakaway. Tormax offers a complete line of door systems, featuring narrow or medium stile doors with or without framing systems. The TDA Overhead Concealed Unit can also be programmed to meet ADA requirements for low energy doors.

TDA incorporates a powerful 1/5 horsepower AC synchronous motor and hypoid gear transmission that is integrated with an intelligent TCP control processor. The result is a smooth whisper quiet swing door operator with the following features:

This non-handed power open, spring close operator is applicable to interior and exterior doors up to 48" wide and weighing up to 220 pounds. Using reliable rack and pinion mechanics and state-of-the-art digital programmable microprocessors, the TTXII is the best solution on the market for conformance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. Available in both Side and Bottom Load Design.
